Laura’s mission is not simply to meet client expectations, but to exceed them. Her vast knowledge of the real estate market, her creative marketing and home search techniques and her attention to detail make her a strong ally for home sellers and buyers.

Laura has a unique background that makes her particularly skilled as a Realtor. As a former licensed general contractor doing whole-home renovations, Laura helps buyers to take a critical look at homes, beyond the cosmetics. Her renovation background benefits sellers who are looking for advice on handling necessary repairs or budget-friendly spruce-ups. Prior to her life as a home renovator, Laura was in a management position for many years, where she was involved in Contact Negotiation and marketing – two key skills of an effective Realtor!

Being knowledgeable and well-educated is very important to Laura. In addition to the coursework required to be a Realtor, she is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute and has earned the GRI designation. She has also earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation from the National Association of Realtors. This designation has helped Laura to be skilled and knowledgeable in situations that can be challenging to older homeowners and families, such as a move to assisted living or when a home is a part of an estate. Laura’s patient, caring and compassionate approach in these situations is appreciated by her clients.

Laura is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance.

When she is not busy with her real estate work, Laura enjoys hiking and biking on regional trails with family and friends.
