In 2013 Julie came back to the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes after working in the real estate sector in and around the Chicago area for more than twenty years. In addition to being a licensed Real Estate Appraiser, she also owned and managed residential rental properties in Chicago, as well as rehabbed several of them.

While appreciating all that the Windy City had to offer, she missed the pristine and abundant lakes of West Central Minnesota.

Having spent much of her childhood here, she has a deep understanding of the “lake life” and rural way of life. Which helps her to help her clients, whether they are selling or buying their first, second or third home, investment property or land/lot. The entire process can sometimes feel intimidating in today’s fast-paced market and with Julie’s expertise and guidance you will stay on track, in control and not feel overwhelmed. Experienced buyers, sellers and investors have been thrilled to work with Julie as well.

In 2020, Julie was awarded the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) Certification. The RSPS Certification is a nationally recognized certification awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® to Real Estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote - to consumers and their peers alike - their expertise in the resort and second home specialty. Less than 1% of all licensed REALTORS® nationwide have earned the RSPS certification.

Owning and personally managing long-term rentals, as well as short-term vacation rentals, gives Julie first-hand knowledge and expertise to guide YOU through the process.

Julie is a Director of the Board of Lake Region Association of REALTORS®, and is a member of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

She earned the Graduate Realtor Designation (GRI) in 2017 and is ePro certified.

Julie and her husband Paul are “empty nesters” and like to travel, fish snowmobile, scuba dive and love spending time with family and friends on the pontoon whenever possible.
